Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities related to the use of the QR-based AR content augmentation platform service provided by QAR24.

This document has been translated from the original Korean version for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Korean version shall prevail.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users in relation to the use of the QR-based AR content augmentation platform service (hereinafter 'Service') provided by QAR24 (hereinafter 'Company').

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • 'Service' refers to the platform service provided by the Company that enables users to create AR content using QR codes through a web editor and experience augmented content in a browser.
  • 'User' refers to members and non-members who access and use the Service provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
  • 'Member' refers to a person who has registered as a member of the Service and can continuously receive information from the Company and use the Service.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)

  • These Terms shall be effective for all users who wish to use the Service.
  • The Company may modify these Terms, and the modified Terms shall become effective upon posting on the Service's notice board.

Article 4 (Registration and Account Management)

  • Users may apply for membership by filling in the required information in the registration form designated by the Company and agreeing to these Terms.
  • Members have a duty to manage their personal information diligently, and the member shall be responsible for any damages resulting from their own negligence.

Article 5 (Service Provision)

  • The Company provides the following services to users:
    • QR code-based AR content creation editor
    • Browser-based AR display of created content
    • All other services developed or provided through partnerships by the Company
  • The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to maintenance, replacement, malfunction, communication disruptions, or other reasons, and shall not be liable for any resulting damages unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Registering false information when applying for or modifying service use
  • Misusing another person's information
  • Unauthorized modification or damage of information posted by the Company
  • Infringement of copyrights of content within the Service
  • Any other activities that violate applicable laws and regulations

Article 7 (Copyright)

  • The copyright of content created by users within the Service shall, in principle, belong to the user who created it.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe upon the rights of third parties, and the Company has no obligation to monitor or manage content created by users.

Article 8 (Payment Cancellation and Refunds)

  • Refunds for service fees paid by users shall be processed according to the following criteria:
    • A full refund is available within 7 days of payment if normal use of the Service is impossible due to defects in the Service or reasons attributable to the Company.
    • For monthly subscribers, if a refund is requested due to a simple change of mind or personal circumstances within 7 days of the payment date, the refund shall be made after deducting the number of days or instances used from the payment amount.
    • For annual subscribers, it is assumed that 10 months of service fees were prepaid with a 2-month discount. Upon refund request, the amount used shall be calculated on a monthly basis at the regular price, and the remaining balance shall be refunded.
  • Refund requests shall be submitted through the method designated by the Company, and the Company shall process the request within 5 business days of receipt.

Article 9 (Service Termination)

  • Members may terminate their use of the Service at any time, and the Company shall promptly process the termination request.
  • The Company may restrict the use of the Service or terminate the agreement if a member violates the Terms or engages in inappropriate conduct.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company shall be exempt from liability if it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, wars, or other comparable circumstances.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary practices. In the event of a dispute between the user and the Company, both parties shall endeavor to resolve the matter amicably, and if unresolved, the matter shall be settled by the competent court.

These Terms shall be effective from March 2, 2025.
